RICHMOND DAIRIES SUPPORTS QUEENSLAND DAIRY INDUSTRY

Award Winning Queensland Dairy Showcase is set to celebrate its 10th Anniversary with the announcement that Casino – New South Wales based Richmond Dairies has signed as naming rights sponsor. This provides tangible support to the Queensland Dairy Industry through stud breeders.

Despite the continued troubled conditions and the uncertain future that the Dairy Industry faces here in Queensland, Casino - New South Wales based Richmond Dairies has thrown its support behind the stud dairy industry. The sponsorship injects significant direct support by way of additional prizemoney at the upcoming Showcase in July this year.

Showcase develops and allows interaction at all levels of the Dairy Industry, from farmers and breeders to processors, consumers, researchers and suppliers.

Early last year Showcase was awarded the Qld Chamber of Agricultural Show Societies Award for Best Innovation in a Local Event recognising the quality of Showcase and its contribution to the Dairy Industry. Richmond Dairies sees Showcase as a perfect fit for their operations and a direct means of supporting dairy farmers. Richmond Dairies stated that… “what is good for the farmers is good for the industry and therefore good for us”….

The Jersey breed who are holding their State Annual Feature Show at Showcase, along with all other breeds will have exhibitors competing for record prizemoney.
